Bayern Munich have received a huge boost ahead of this weekend’s match against Borussia Dortmund. The return of three starters to the squad could be enough to swing the balance firmly into Bayern’s favor.
The club announced on Monday that Arjen Robben’s injury was not really an injury and was precautionary as speculated. He’s been given the all clear for this weekend and will be in the squad to face Dortmund.
Jerome Boateng has also returned to training following the knee and adductor injuries that he suffered against Hoffenheim just before the international break. While Bayern have yet to commit to Boateng being available against Dortmund, one has to imagine that, if Boateng is healthy, he will play.
On the Franck Ribery front, there is also good news! He took part in the team training on Monday and could very well join his teammates on the field this weekend in Dortmund.
If Bayern have Boateng, Ribery, and Robben at their disposal this weekend against Borussia Dortmund, the scales of justice could be tipped in their favor.
