Romania fans throw firecracker at Robert Lewandowski, he responded with kindness

And, by “kindness”, I mean he scored two goals.

Robert Lewandowski and Poland traveled to Bucharest for their World Cup Qualifier against Romania. During a Poland corner kick early in the second half, someone from the crowd through a fire cracker onto the field near Lewandowski.

In the video below, you can see Lewandowski signal to the referee toward the firecracker. Since he doesn’t move out of the way, it appears that Lewandowski just thought that it was a smoke bomb.

Then, it exploded sending Lewandowski tumbling to the ground. Of course, panic set in, but Lewandowski was fine. He was so “fine” that he went on to score two goals in the final 35 minutes to secure Poland’s victory.

What a day.
