Tip of the Cap: Jerome Boateng. Bayern’s defense did not have the best day, but Boateng prevented the game from getting completely out of hand. He covered the backside of Mats Hummels in the second half when Ji Dong-Won broke free, and helped control the game from the back.
Golf Clap: Thiago Alcantara. His passing was at the high level it usually is, but he was one of the reasons Augsburg could not break as often as they desired. His five interceptions lead the team, an aspect to his game that he has improved under Ancelotti.
Standing Ovation: Robert Lewandowski . He really needed a game like this considering he had one goal in his last seven appearances going into the game. His first touch was not always perfect, but his finishing touch was pretty good to say the least. If he gets in form, Bayern will be very dangerous in the final two months before the winter break.
Meister of the Match: Arjen Robben . Every part of Robben’s game was laud worthy; not just his terrific passing and abilities on the ball, but his defensive awareness and his tenacity. Whenever he is fit, he is still one of the top players in Europe. Can Bayern just announce his extension already?
Jersey Swap: Koo Ja-Cheol. He was Augsburg's most lively attacker. He ran at Philipp Lahm without fear, but did not have the support to do much with the ball when he had it. He was rewarded with a goal in the second half, one that he certainly deserved.
