We've all heard the rumors and stories circulating in the media about Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Robert Lewandowski getting contract extensions. According to Sport1, Robben and Ribery will extend their deals until 2019, while Lewandowski will sign a new deal until 2021.
Polish media reports, Robert Lewandowski has reached an agreement with FC Bayern until 2021 earning €15m/year, but his agent denies "There is nothing new to report."
Lewandowski, 27, has three years remaining on his contract with the Bavarians. In the past Real Madrid expressed their interest, but Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge ruled out a sale. The contracts of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery expire at the end of this season.
New deals for Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Robert Lewandowski are expected to be announced late November around the general meeting.
With the possible extension of Lewandowski, it will probably put an end on the rumours of Bayern Munich to sign Romelu Lukaku. Eventhough Robben and Ribery are at the wrongside of the 30’s, they can still perform at a very high level. Bayern really missed the combination of Robbery in the late stages of the Champions League for the last few seasons.
