Brazil has named Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa to their squad for upcoming CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers against Argentina and Peru. This will be the third and final international break of the Hinrunde. Finally, no more international breaks until March.

Costa finally returned to full fitness for Bayern and will look to stay healthy over the next two weeks for his nation’s absolutely massive qualifier against archrival Argentina. He came on midweek for a twenty minute appearance against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League. Before that short appearance, the last time he was on the field for Bayern was back on September 17 against Ingolstadt when he came off injured.

After ten matches of an 18 round qualifying campaign, Brazil sit at the top of the standings with a one point lead over second place Uruguay.

They will host Argentina in Belo Horizonte on November 10 before visiting Lima on November 15.
