The Bundesliga is back in action this weekend, with Bayern Munich hosting FC Köln at the Allianz Arena. The Bavarians will be hoping to make it six wins out of six matches, but Köln will be targeting ending the match still unbeaten in the Bundesliga.
With the international break approaching, the match is big for both sides as they look to keep momentum on their side in the league. Bayern are coming off of their midweek loss to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, and with several clubs nipping at their heels, Bayern need a win if they want to cement their lead at the top of the table.
Carlo Ancelotti mentioned in Friday’s press conference that he planned to start Arjen Robben and give Franck Ribery a break in the match. What other changes might we see? Chances are good that Mats Hummels will return to the starting lineup, and it’s possible that Philipp Lahm could get a break in this match.
Will Bayern head into the international break with a win?
