The "Where will he go?" saga of Bayern Munich midfielder Gianluca Gaudino continues with new reports linking the young midfielder with an unexpected move. Gaudino is set for a six month loan (with no purchase clause) to Switzerland-based side FC St. Gallen, according to Blick.
Gaudino has reportedly been itching for a move away from FC Bayern to play first team football somewhere. While St. Gallen surely isn't a flashy landing spot, Gaudino would be likely anchoring the midfield of a team within distance of a Champions League place.
Di Marzio is reporting that Gaudino to St. Gallen is likely to happen, while a summer move to Italian side Cagliari is a possibility from there. However, with Carlo Ancelotti taking the reigns at Bayern in the summer, it is likely that the young German will look to impress his new coach before deciding on a future away from FCB.
Previous reports saw Gaudino linked with clubs like AC Milan and Stuttgart on a six month loan with an option to purchase at the end of the season.
