Here is some breaking news for you: Robert Lewandowski is really good.
The Bayern Munich forward grabbed goal number seventeen in league play during the match against Hamburg. Thomas Muller grabbed a rebound at the top of the box and pulled the trigger on a quick shot. Lewandowski looked up, saw the ball coming at him, and deflected it into the corner of the goal. He whipped his head around to look at the assistant referee, expecting to see the offside flag.
It never came, and Lewandowski took off toward the corner flag to celebrate his second goal of the match.
The goal reestablished Bayern's lead in the match and moved them ever closer to taking home all three points on the day.
Lewandowski's seventeen goals put him only one behind Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the goalscorer's table. He's also only seven goals behind his career high of 24 which came in the 2012-13 season with BVB.
Offside? No! Lewandowski's flick redirects Muller's strike and sends Adler the wrong way to make it 2-1, Bayern. https://t.co/d2Z0zhZuBI
