The return of the UEFA Champions League to the Allianz Arena means that Bayern Munich are back on the warpath with three points on their mind. This time, the opponent is Croatian superpower Dinamo Zagreb.
On paper, this is a win for FC Bayern; however, anything is possible once both teams take the field. Zagreb showed during the first matchday in their match against Arsenal, that they are not to be doubted. Their big win over the Londoners showed that they mean business and won't back down from a big name.
It's expect that Pep Guardiola is going to have to call up a few players from Bayern II to the first team in order to fill out the squad for the match due to injuries. However, with an attacking four of Robert Lewandowski, Mario Götze, Thomas Müller and Douglas Costa, all of those subs may not be necessary.
This match is mostly a tune-up for Bayern ahead of the return of Der Klassiker on Sunday against Borussia Dortmund, but overlooking Dinamo Zagreb will not be something that Guardiola will allow his team to do.
Once the lineups are released, this thread will be updated.
