Pep Guardiola revealed in his press conference on Monday that Arturo Vidal and Sebastian Rode were likely going to miss Bayern Munich's Champions League match on Tuesday against Dinamo Zagreb. Both appear to be suffering from minor injuries, but everyone knows how minor injuries affect FC Bayern over the last several years.
Vidal, coming off of a second half substitute appearance against Mainz, is suffering from knee problems. Rode is still ailing from a knock that he received, presumably in training.
In order to fill out the roster, Guardiola will call up a few players from Bayern II. "We are only a few, only 14, 15 players," Guardiola said. "So we will need one or two from the second team."
If the two miss the match, they will join a long list of stars out for FC Bayern. Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, Holger Badstuber, Medhi Benatia, and Jan Kirchhoff are already sidelined with injuries.
The good news is that Jerome Boateng and Javi Martinez are good to go against Zagreb.
