Bayern Munich hold training session at Säbener Straße for refugees

Bayern is the best.

Staying true to their word, Bayern Munich held a training session at Säbener Straße for refugees in the Munich area. The session was attended by 28 refugees, nearly all minors, that are currently living at the refugee reception center in Munich.

The training session was managed by various coaches from the club's youth teams. Thiago Alcantara, Jerome Boateng and Thomas Müller even came out and kicked the ball around toward the end. They also took pictures and signed autographs for those in attendance. All participants were giving full FC Bayern gear, also.

Bayern has been working closely with the Mayor of Munich Dieter Reiter and Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann in planning and organizing this program for the refugees. Now that the first training session has been completely, Bayern and the city of Munich will get together and figure out what an appropriate timeframe is for the club to hold these training sessions.
