Kingsley Coman is ready to immediately contribute to Bayern Munich

Kingsley Coman isn't following the path of your average 19 year old player. By the time he hits his 20th birthday next summer, he will have played matches for Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Bayern Munich. He has big things in plan for his time at Bayern.

"I've been at a number of big clubs in Europe. But to me FC Bayern is above the other clubs," Coman said as he was introduced to the media this week. "I want to play my part in winning as many titles as possible. I'll really push myself and give everything."

The idea of playing in a system that lets it's wingers flourish was a big reason that Coman chose to leave Juventus for Bayern. "FC Bayern fit my style of play." He continued, "In the Bundesliga they play more offensively than in Italy, you see more goals. That suits me better."

Matthias Sammer was full of praise for the young French winger. With Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery unavailable due to injuries, the possibility exists that Coman sees minutes this weekend against Augsburg. "If the coach fields him he'll explode," Sammer said.

"He's quick, agile, with good technique and match intelligence. These qualities are very interesting for our team," Sammer continued in his admiration. "He can make us stronger right away. His potential is extraordinary. We're very happy that he's with us."

In the meantime, Kingsley will not only work on his football but his German, too.
