Bayern Munich centerback Dante finally returns to team training

After picking up an injury before training began, Dante has finally joined the team.

In a perfect, injury-free world, Bayern Munich aren't worrying about their centerback situation. On Earth in 2015, the injury situation at centerback is again a problem. However, Monday brought some relief with the return of everyone's favorite Brazilian centerback.

Dante joined the club training session today for 45 minutes before moving on to an individual routine under the watchful eye of trainer Andreas Kornmayer. Fellow centerback options Holger Badstuber, Javi Martinez, and even Jan Kirchhoff are still out with injuries.

It will be interesting to see what Pep Guardiola decides to do with his centerback pairing in the upcoming Audi Cup. If Mehdi Benatia or Jerome Boateng get a rest, we could see Pep slide David Alaba in at centerback or switch to a back three.

David Alaba was sure happy to see Dante back at training today.

Cool guys on the pitch @da_27 and @dantebahia! Welcome back #Dante! #MiaSanMia #FCBayern
