While Thomas Müller's second goal was nowhere near as flashy as his first, the penalty meant that Bayern Munich were well on their way to victory in a match that they entered with nothing but question marks surrounding the squad. No centerbacks? No problems.
Confident as ever, Müller sent his low penalty shot right up the middle as Leno dove to his left. The goal gave FC Bayern an insurmountable two goal lead, and Leverkusen faded right out of the match.
Müller now has five goals to his name after the first three Bundesliga games of the season. The most he's ever scored in a single Bundesliga season is 13, and Müller is currently on track to score a staggering 56 goals in 2015-16. That is, of course, if he was able to keep up this blistering pace.
The only question that remains is "How many goals will Thomas Müller finish the Bundesliga season with?".
