Who's In, Who's Out for Bayern Munich against Hoffenheim

Injuries... who needs them?

Bayern Munich travel to Hoffenheim for their first road match of the young Bundesliga season, and while the injury list is actually looking better for FCB, there are still some players that will be missing out.

Pep Guardiola has decided to bring Dante and Sebastian Rode with the squad to Hoffenheim and has left Pierre Hojbjerg and Joshua Kimmich back in Munich. Unfortunately for the two central midfielders, a rotational policy is necessary at any big club.

There is some wonderful news to report, and that is that Thiago Alcantara is ready to go this weekend. We may not see him from the start of the match but don't be surprised with the Spanish maestro checks into the match.

Franck Ribery remains out with his ankle problems. However, we are now approaching the end of the month, so we will hopefully be receiving some good news about Ribery at some point in the near future.

Luckily for Bayern's central defense, Holger Badstuber is slated to return in the next week or two, if everything has gone according to plan. Perhaps, he'll return to the squad fully after the international break? We know that he's just started training on the field again.

Javi Martinez is also expected back during the international break. Is it possible that both Badstuber and Martinez return to the squad at the same time? Talk about a morale boost.

Jan Kirchhoff is still targeting an October return.
