Bayern Munich slam the door on any potential Mario Götze, Thomas Müller transfer

They're staying. It's okay.

During Friday's sponsor party at the Allianz Arena, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge took some questions from the media. Of course, the talking points quickly turned from the cool, new lighting at the Allianz Arena to potential transfers in and out of Munich.

Bayern Munich have done everything in their power to tell Manchester United that they're not considering a sale of Thomas Müller. Even after United's €100 million bid for Müller, Bayern declined the offer. So, with a laugh, Rummenigge answered a question. "Louis van Gaal is very stubborn, but there is no price for Thomas Müller."

Mario Götze is also staying in Munich. Many tried to spin stories about how he was unhappy in Munich and sure to leave to Juventus or Arsenal or Manchester City. Götze is having none of that, however. "He has informed the club that he wants to stay, and wants to assert himself here," Rummenigge said. "If there's no new initiative from him, it's the end of this story."

As for Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne and Juventus's Kingsley Coman, Rummenigge assured that neither player would be joining Bayern this summer.
