Bundesliga coaches overwhelmingly pick Bayern Munich to win championship

If the coaches in the Bundesliga are to be believed, Bayern Munich will repeat as the league's champions and make a little history in the process.

While all of the coaches expect Bayern to win the league, only sixteen of the eighteen coaches in the league have picked Bayern to definitely lift their fourth consecutive Bundesliga trophy. They would become the first club to ever win the championship four years in a row. Bayern (on multiple occasions) and Borussia Mönchengladbach have won the league three times in a row, but both clubs failed to capture that elusive fourth trophy.

Obviously, the interesting information here is finding out who the two coaches were that didn't pick Bayern to easily win the league in the survey conducted by the Deutsche Presse-Agentur. Those two coaches were Mainz's Martin Schmidt and Köln's Peter Stöger.

They still expect Bayern to win the league, but both coaches believe that Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg will give the Bavarians a run for their money during the campaign.
