Bayern Munich's visit of China ends with one final match. On Thursday, FC Bayern will take on Guangzhou Evergrande in their home stadium. Like the other two matches, this is also a rematch.
In the 2013 Club World Cup Semifinal, Bayern beat Guangzhou behind goals from Franck Ribery, Mario Mandzukic, and Mario Götze. Bayern would go on to win the competition.
Since this is the last match of the tour and against the weakest opponent, it will be interesting to see what kind of lineup Pep Guardiola puts out. Will the non-starters get more of a run out in this one or will Pep keep playing the guys who we expect will be starters
After the match, Bayern returns to Germany for next weekend's DFL Supercup against Wolfsburg. The players and staff are probably exhausted, so they week to prepare is likely necessary.
Once the lineups are released, this thread will be updated.
