After joining the Liverpool Ladies football team for back-to-back league championships, Nicole Rolser is moving on from the Women's Super League, signing a two-year contract with Bayern Munich Frauen.
Rolser was a key piece of the Liverpool ladies team in 2013 when she scored 10 goals in 14 appearances, leading the team to their first WSL championship. Her 2014 season was not quite so bright as it was cut short after just 4 games due to an ACL injury.
In a statement from Liverpool FC, Rolser said
"I will take some fantastic memories with me but I simply could not turn down the opportunity to go back to Germany to play for a club as big as Bayern Munich."
Rolser has been a mainstay with the German youth national sides, winning both the U17 and U19 Euros as well being a part of the 2012 U20 World Cup squad that finished runner up to Japan. Even at the young age of 23, Rolser is a seasoned veteran with three Frauen Bundesliga seasons to complement her three years at Liverpool.
