The summer for Bayern Munich II has already been an interesting one. Head coach Erik ten Hag left and was replaced with Heiko Vogel. Then, FCB brought in three players to help make another push for the 3.Liga. Now, they're losing one of their own.
Bayern have announced that Rico Strieder will be leaving the club for FC Utrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie. The twenty three year old has been with Bayern for 12 years having come up through the youth system. However, his new team will have a familiar face. Ten Hag is now the head coach at Utrecht.
Last season, Strieder only made eight appearances for the reserves in the Regionalliga due to a hip injury. However, he did make one appearance for the first team. Pep Guardiola played him 90 minutes during the club's 2-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen late in the season.
