Bayern Munich have released their 2015 summer schedule. As one would expect, it is very heavy with friendlies, and they've scheduled eight of them in addition to the DFL Supercup. All of that is crammed into a seven week period as FC Bayern look to build upon the success of the last two seasons under manager Pep Guardiola.
The club is once again participating in the Telekom Cup in Mönchengladbach and will also host the Audi Cup. Following up on last year's visit to the United States, this summer's "Audi Summer Tour" will take the Bavarians to China where they'll face two European clubs and a Chinese one.
Full Schedule
July 1: The players (except for internationals) will return to Munich for training.
July 11: The remaining players return to Munich, and the team will be introduced to the supporters at the Allianz Arena.
July 12: Bayern will participate in the 2015 Telekom Cup against Borussia Mönchengladbach, Hamburg, Augsburg
July 16-24: The club will travel to China for the 2015 Audi Summer Tour.
July 18: Friendly vs Valencia in Beijing
July 21: Friendly vs Inter Milan in Shanghai
July 23: Friendly vs Guanghzou Evergrande in Guanghzou
August 1: DFL Supercup: Bayern Munich vs Wolfsburg or Borussia Dortmund (DFB Pokal Final Winner)
August 4-5: Bayern will host the 2015 Audi Cup. Real Madrid is the only confirmed participate at this time.
August 8-10: The first round matches of the 2015-16 DFB Pokal will take place during these days
August 14: Bayern will kick of the Bundesliga season.
August 17: The club has agreed to play in a charity friendly against Dynamo Dresden.
