The UEFA Champions League is big business, and like most things, the better you are the more money you will make. The last update that we had on this news came after Bayern Munich eliminated Shakhtar Donetsk in the Round of 16. The report then was the Bayern had earned €50 million at that point.

TZ is reporting that the final amount of money that Bayern have won from the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League is around €66 million. This includes €25.9 million from wins and making the semifinals and €20 million from the market pool. TZ also estimates that Bayern will make over €20 million from tickets sales from the six home games.

With their eyes on the summer transfer window this summer, FC Bayern will add this money to their transfer purse. They'll be targeting many of European's elite players in an attempt to bolster the squad before they enter this competition next year with eyes on lifting the cup.
