While most assumed that Robert Lewandowski had suffered a concussion after his collision with Mitch Langerak during Bayern Munich's penalty shootout loss to Borussia Dortmund in the DFB Pokal semifinals, it was still a shock when it was revealed just how much damage had been done to the Polish international.
In addition to the concussion, Lewandowski suffered a broken nose and a fractured jaw. How long will Lewandowski be missing in action for Bayern? At this point, it's too difficult to tell, and Lewandowski will know over the coming days how his body his recovering from the concussion. One can expect that he will be out this weekend for the match against Bayer Leverkusen.
However, what about next Wednesday's UEFA Champions League semifinal against Barcelona? I'll let Lewandowski tell you himself.
Jestem po kolejnych badaniach. Zrobię wszystko żeby zagrać na Camp Nou. Dziękuję wszystkim za słowa wsparcia!

Yes, the man you see in that picture suffered a concussion, broken nose, and fractured jaw yesterday. He sure doesn't look like it.
His health is the most important thing here, but it sure would be nice if Lewandowski is on the field when Bayern visit Barcelona next week.
