Two weeks ago, David Alaba suffered an injury while performing for the Austrian national team. On Monday, Alaba visited the doctor and had his cast removed from his injured leg. Luckily for all of us, Twitter is a thing, and we're able to take the "having your cast cut off" journey with Alaba.
The medial collateral ligament tear will keep Alaba out for at least another month. However, Alaba still has a target date of returning before the end of the season and, hopefully, participating with the rest of the club in lifting the Bundesliga, Pokal, and Champions League trophies. Bayern Munich fans hope the same.
My signed cast with the well wishes from my teammates. You guys are the best! #da27 pic.twitter.com/ImN2WCddkq
