Just a couple of days after surviving an extra time penalty shootout against Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB Pokal, Bayern Munich return to their home field on Saturday with a match against Eintracht Frankfurt. As always, the Allianz Arena will be rocking with the hope that the Bavarians extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga.
For David, the match involves finding out where/why the creativity in the side is and what it will take to get it back. While missing Arjen Robben and Franck Robbery is a big, big problem, Bayern does need a to figure out a way to get the job done. The last two matches, against Dortmund and Leverkusen, have been victories ,they came in immense offensive struggles. With the big competitions coming to a close this season, it's important that FC Bayern figure out how to do this.
The match against Frankfurt in the HInrunde ended with a 4 goal victory. If FC Bayern would like to break their own goalscoring record, they'll need to bank in a few goals here.
Once the lineups are released, this thread will be updated.
