With an eight point lead over second place Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich travel to the north of Germany to take on Hannover 96. During the Hinrunde, Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandowski grabbed braces to lead FC Bayern to a 4-0 victory. Will things be the same in the return fixture?
Pep Guardiola has a few roster decisions to make during the Englisch Woche. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Xabi Alonso started in the midfield against Eintracht Braunschweig in the DFB Pokal, so one would assume that Guardiola will sit at least one of them from the start against Hannover. I'd also expect some rotation among the front four.
Bayern are in the midst of five games in sixteen days, and Shakhtar Donetsk visit Munich midweek in the UEFA Champions League. The club will have their focus on Hannover on the day, but they'll be thinking about their upcoming fixture against the Ukrainians.
Once the lineups are released, this thread will be updated.
