In the clash most important to Bundesliga fans, Borussia Dortmund sqaures off against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. Bouyed by a run of domestic wins, this will be the true test for how Jurgen Klopp has been able to reconnect and refocus his players after their disastrous Hinrunde performance. At least that's what the narrative would have you believe, even though Dortmund streamrolled their way through an exceptionally tough group in the Champions League group stage. Juventus on the other hand are the lone Serie A side left at this stage and their performance will be taken as an indication of the health of the Italian league. That's not quite so easy to ignore.
Meanwhile, the other game involves some team called Manchester City. I think Bayern's played them recently, but I might have wiped it from my mind. I remember really beating them in September or something. Opposite them is some guys called Barcelona who people say our kits look like. Apparently, Guardiola played and then later coached them once. They might have been mildly successful or something.
