Pep Guardiola and Bayern Munich have revealed the players that made the trip to Croatia for Wednesday's Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb, and the world's greatest goalkeeper isn't on the list.
Manuel Neuer is being left in Munich after a grueling first half schedule that's seen him play in every single Bayern game so far this season except one. That match was the opening DFB Pokal match. Barring a last minute injury, Sven Ulreich will get the start in the goal for FCB.
After a couple of weeks out, Thiago Alcantara will be making the trip to Zagreb. In a match that means nothing for either side, it will be interesting to see if Guardiola risks playing his star midfielder in the contest.
Julian Green has received the call up to the first team for the match by Guardiola. Perhaps Green will get a run out during the meaningless match?
FCB are also bringing youth players David Hundertmark, Fabian Benko and Niklas Dorsch on the trip to Zagreb.
