Douglas Costa is out against Borussia Mönchengladbach; Arjen Robben doubtful

The Brazilian will miss out. The Dutchman might not be there either.

When Bayern Munich travel to Borussia Park on Saturday, the Bavarians will be without their Brazilian winger. Douglas Costa has revealed that he won't be joining Bayern on the trip.

Costa told Bild in an interview that he will not be playing in the match. He is still being bothered by the same hamstring he injured a week ago against Olympiacos in the Champions League. He was out last week against Hertha Berlin, also.

At this point, it's not known whether Arjen Robben will take part in the match. The Dutchman hasn't taken part in full training this week and may not be fit yet to return. We should know more on Friday.

If both wingers do miss the match, it's likely that Pep Guardiola turns to a front attacking three of Kingsley Coman, Robert Lewandowski, and Thomas Muller. Regardless, that's still a terrifying attacking front for an opposition to face.

Still, there remains one option available to Guardiola if he sees fit to pull switch. We saw him in the midfield last week, so how does everyone feel about Jerome Boateng the winger?
