Bayern Munich have learned their fate for the quarterfinal draw of the 2015-16 DFB Pokal. FCB will hit the road on February 9 or 10 for a visit to North Rhine-Westphalia where they will take on the mighty VfL Bochum.
Bochum are currently in sixth place in the 2.Bundesliga, three points out of the promotion playoff spot. They'll be feeling a bit unlucky, having drawn FC Bayern with more favorable options like Heidenheim, Stuttgart, and Werder Bremen still in the competition.
This will be the fourth match in the DFB Pokal between the two sides. Bochum won the first back in the semifinals of the 1967-68 competition. Bayern, however, have taken the three most recent contests, including the Round of 16 matchup in the 2011-12 season.
The final, as always, will be played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on May 21.
