Bayern Munich beat Hoffenheim in the Frauen Bundesliga to remain in first place. Thomas Wörle's side are still unbeaten and are playing at a tremendous level. The last time that FCB lost in the Bundesliga was June 1, 2014 stretching their current unbeaten run in the league to 34 games.
FCB jumped out to a quick start, pouring on the pressure. Within twenty minutes, the Bavarians were up two goals. Sara Däbritz scored first and was quickly followed by Melanie Leupolz. Bayern should've finished the match off early, but they were careless in their finishing and only entered halftime up by two goals.
The wastefulness nearly came back to bite them late in the second half when Hoffenheim's Nicole Billa scored a goal to bring the hosts back within one.
However, Däbritz was relentless and finally got her brace in the dying minutes of the match to lead FC Bayern to a 3-1 victory.
Bayern remain nine points ahead of second place Wolfsburg with only one more game before the winter break. After the winter break, FC Bayern will be visiting Wolfsburg in the second match.
