While in attendance of the announcement of Bayern Munich's new sponsorship deal with Goodyear Tires, Franck Ribery was asked questions from the media regarding his health and potential return to the field.

It was revealed at the beginning of the month that Ribery had a "secret timeline" on his return that would coincide with a return in front of the home crowd. The report stated that they were hoping for a home crowd boost for Ribery in his comeback from injury.

What match is Ribery targeting? He's hoping for a return on December 12 against Ingolstadt at the Allianz Arena. He's hoping to play at least a "quarter of an hour" in the match. Barring any setbacks during this week, Ribery is planning on returning to partial team training on Sunday following Saturday's match against Hertha Berlin.

Ribery's return comes nine months after he injured his foot against Shakhtar Donetsk in the spring. What was only supposed to keep him out of action for a few days, slowly turned into a bizarre disaster for the Frenchman. However, with his return finally in sight, Ribery is inching closer to the field.
