Franck Ribery and Sebastian Rode are making progress in their recovery from injuries. While Rode has been out for a few weeks, Ribery has been on the sidelines since March.

Rode has been sidelined for six weeks with a tendon issue in his thigh. While he has been running, Rode finally started training with the ball at his feet on Friday. The last match Rode played in was six weeks ago against Mainz back on September 26.

Ribery's training at the moment is consisting of extensive sprint work and shooting drills at small goals. While the Frenchman isn't ready to begin squad training yet, he is feeling "feeling very, very good".

After training, Ribery was asked his thoughts on Holger Badstuber's triumphant return to the field in FC Bayern's last match before the international break. "It was super, beautiful. That's Bayern Munich! As I always say, Bayern are like a family."
