For 17 years, Bastian Schweinsteiger was a member of Bayern Munich before departing for Manchester United. The 31 year old midfielder joined the FCB academy where he was molded into one of the best midfielders in the world. Now, he's giving back to the people that helped him get to where he is today.
Schweinsteiger has given all 400 employees of Bayern Munich a set of Beats by Dre headphones. With the €300 price tag on each set of Beats, the total cost of the gift is around €120,000. Beats by Dre is one of Schweinsteiger's sponsors. However, reports say that Schweinsteiger paid for these out of his own pocket.
The headband was engraved with a message from the Germany captain: "Thanks for everything!". Every gift also came with a personalized thank you card from Schweinsteiger.
You'll remember the wonderful little commercial released by Beats by Dre in the summer after Schweinsteiger announced he was leaving Munich for Manchester
