Bayern Munich is set to receive a big return to the squad for the match against Eintracht Frankfurt. According to Christian Ortlepp with Sport1, Holger Badstuber was in the Bayern squad as they left Munich for Frankfurt on Friday morning.
While Badstuber's return has taken a little longer than originally expected, allowing him to take his time throughout his recovering was the best decision for his career. His injury history has been well documented, and he will hopefully stave off any recurring injuries.
This will be the first match that Badstuber has been in the eighteen man squad for FC Bayern since April 18 when the club faced Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga. A Bayern Munich with Holger Badstuber is far better than one without him.
Cross your fingers that he doesn't break again.
