The shortlist for the 2015 FIFA Ballon d'Or was announced. Well, it's not really a "shortlist", because twenty three players were named! It's silly, but five Bayern Munich players were named to the list.
Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Arjen Robben, and Arturo Vidal represent the Bavarians. While the majority of Vidal's exploits came as a member of Juventus, the other players were instrumental in FC Bayern bringing home another Bundesliga championship to Munich.
The award will unquestionably go to either Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. Since Barcelona won the Champions League last season, the Argentine will be the likely victor.
