Bayern Munich beat SC Freiburg at the Grünwalder Stradion on Sunday to expand their lead at the top of the Frauen Bundesliga to three points ahead of second place FFC Frankfurt. Nicole Rolser scored a goal in the very first minute to see FC Bayern to victory on the day.

The two sides exchanged chances in the first half. Sara Däbritz, Melanie Leupolz, and Kristie Mewis had the opportunities for Bayern, while Sandra Starke and Selina Wagner came close for Freiburg. Bayern controlled the match during the second half and probably should've added another goal or two to their total on the day.

Congratulations are in order for Viktoria Schnaderbeck as she played in her 100th Bundesliga match for FC Bayern.

FCB won't take the field again until November 1 thanks to the upcoming international break. That match will be at the Stadion am Brentanobad in Frankfurt when first meets second. They will also meet a few days later in the DFB Pokal Round of 16.
