The moment of truth has arrived for Germany, Poland, and the Republic of Ireland. The top of the Group D standings could not be any tighter, and each country is trying to avoid the extra qualifying round it takes in order to advance to the UEFA Euro Championships.

With one point separating Germany from their group comrades, the result scenarios matter more than ever:

• Poland qualify with a win or a draw with the Republic of Ireland
• Republic of Ireland qualify with a win or a draw coupled with a Germany losing margin of two goals or more.
