Here's some more bad news on the injury front for all Bayern Munich fans. Arjen Robben missed Sunday's training is unlikely to play in Wednesday's Champions League match against Manchester City. Yes, it appears he will be joining the long list of Bayern players that are unavailable for the match.
Robben is still suffering from a knee injury that has been bugging him since after the Wolfsburg match. In addition to Robben, Bayern will definitely be without Holger Badstuber, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thiago Alcantara, Rafinha, and Javi Martinez. Though, we do have an update that Thiago, Rafinha, and Mitchell Weiser engaged in individual rehab sessions on the field on Sunday.
With Robben out and Ribery potentially still relegated to a reserve role, it will be interesting to see how Pep Guardiola decides to line up his team. We've seen some new wrinkles up the Spaniard's sleeve so far this season, and he'll need to show another one with the English champs coming to the Allianz Arena.
What lineup would you prefer to see Pep play against Man City?
