Julian Green called into United States Men's National Team for Czech Republic friendly

Jurgen Klinsmann has called up Julian Green for the USA's upcoming friendly.

I know what you're thinking? "It's already time for an international break?" Yes, after Saturday's match against Schalke, FC Bayern will not take the field again until September 13. In the meantime, many players will depart for a match with their national teams. This includes Julian Green.

The young winger/midfielder/forward has been called up by Jurgen Klinsmann for the United States for their upcoming friendly against the Czech Republic in Prague. The squad is very inexperienced on the international level, as Klinsmann has left all of the MLS players with their clubs (except one) as they get closer to the MLS Playoffs.

Green is joined by fellow Bundesliga players John Brooks (Hertha Berlin), Timmy Chandler (Eintracht Frankfurt), Fabian Johnson (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Alfredo Morales (Ingolstadt), Joe Gyau (Borussia Dortmund II), and Bobby Wood (1860 Munich).

Looking at the squad that Klinsmann is bringing together, it's very likely that Green will start the match for the Americans. The Czech Republic are using the USA as a tune up game before they face the Netherlands in Euro 2016 Qualifying a few days later.

We'll know for sure this weekend if Green will remain at Bayern this season or go out on loan, but all indications are that he's going to be a part of Pep Guardiola's plans (albeit a small part).
