Two new writers join the Bavarian Football Works staff

More are on the way.

We went looking for some new writers here at Bavarian Football Works to help us improve the product that we bring you each and every day. Some of the new staff will be completely new to the site, while some of them will come from the community here at BFW.

I have asked all of the new writers to write an introduction, so that you can get to know them better.

The first new writer is Caleb Childers.

Hello all! My name is Caleb Childers and I am incredibly excited to be joining Bavarian Football Works. I am joining the site to write about the women's side of the club and cannot wait for the season to start.

This is actually the first SB Nation site that I have ever written for. Prior to this, I wrote for the newspaper of my alma mater, Xavier University. While I infrequently wrote about soccer for my school, I began to follow soccer much more closely during that time. I primarily followed the local MLS squad, the Columbus Crew, but during the 2009-2010 season I became enthralled with the UEFA Champions League. I am sure that you all know what happens next, but on the plus side, the reds added at least one new supporter during that campaign.

As previously mentioned, I will primarily be writing about the Bayern Munich women's team that plays in the Frauen-Bundesliga. I am excited for this opportunity because I fell in love with women's soccer during the 2011 World Cup. I am fascinated by it and cannot wait to share my thoughts with you all here as well as provide information about our beloved team to all of you who read this site.

Speaking of the Women's World Cup, it is my goal to attend the World Cup next summer in Canada. When I am not writing or tweeting about soccer, I am a teacher who lives right on the Washington-Oregon border along the Columbia River. Being only a few hours from the USA-Canada border, I would love to take a trip to the Great White North to see both USA and Germany play in such an awesome event.

Thank you all for reading this little introduction. I hope that it gave you all a little insight into who I am and I cannot wait to get to know you all better.

The second person joining our team will be Brittany Schrameyer.

Hallo, Leute! I'm Brittany Schrameyer and I will be joining Bavarian Football Works this season. For the last few years I've been behind the @_rekordmeister Twitter account and I'm thrilled to now be a member of the BFW family.

I fell in love with Bayern as a kid and, while I have yet to fulfill my childhood dream of marrying Mehmet Scholl, I am still up at the crack of dawn every Saturday trying to determine if this group of pixels on the screen is Pizarro or if that one is Shaqiri. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to live in Germany during our amazing treble season and I managed to see the team several times. You haven't lived until you've witnessed Berni conducting a marching band at Allianz Arena during Oktoberfest while sipping on a free beer courtesy of a Bastian Schweinsteiger goal.

Unfortunately my life does not completely revolve around Bayern. When I'm not biting off all my nails watching Müller stumble over the ball, you can find me at home in Austin with my dog. I recently graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in history and will soon be shaping the young minds of tomorrow - and hopefully converting a few in to Bayern fans.

I will be doing a little bit of everything for BFW. I'm looking forward to sharing some of my favorite moments from Bayern's rich history while continuing to make this site a fun place to come to and talk about the best team in the world. Drückt die Daumen for a great season and I can't wait to get started.
