Robert Lewandowski made his debut for Bayern Munich on Monday in a friendly away to MSV Duisburg. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, but I have great news, Bayern fans: Robert Lewandowski is still a really good player and pretty great at scoring goals.
Lewandowski scored in the 62nd minute to give Bayern the 1-0 lead, but Duisburg would equalize a few minutes later.
The match was being played in Duisburg to help raise funds for the financially struggling 3.Liga club. Duisburg's sporting director Ivica Grlic said what we all already knew, "If you know Bayern Munich, you know they're prepared to assist clubs with financial problems."
Pep Guardiola went with a three man backline from the start, once again.

More players, including Javi Martinez, will start to return to Bayern Munich this week, and it will be interesting to see what players are available for selection to Guardiola this weekend when Bayern take part in the 2014 Telekom Cup. They will face Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday and then either Wolfsburg or Hamburg on Sunday.
