If this season review was written at the end of the senior team's season, there would be nothing but positive things to say about Raeder. In his most important appearance, he played well against Kaiserslautern in the DFB-Pokal semifinal for the 90 minutes spanning Bayern's 5-1 victory.
Saves/90 | Touches/90 | Pass % | Back Zone Pass % | Forward Zone Pass % |
2.5 | 35 | 70% | 89% | 19% |
In league play he debuted at halftime against BVB in Munich after coming on for an injured Manuel Neuer. Dortmund put two goals past him but both could easily be blamed on the defense and midfield in front of him, nonetheless he was made to look like a fool by Marco Reus on that occasion.
Unfortunately that was not all that is worth writing about the former Schalke U-19 player. In Bayern Amateure's 3. Liga playoff against Fortuna Köln, Raeder made an unforgivable mistake by letting the ball bounce over his head and into the net, a goal that flipped the result of the tie around and sent Köln through on away goals.
