Rekordmeister Podcast: At The Copa, Copa do Mundo

Susie Schaaf, Michel Munger, and I break down the Round of 16 matches and the group stage that has played out in Brazil thus far, but mainly spend time making fun of England, Italy, and Spain while we still can.

Laurence Griffiths

It's been the World Cup of surprises, including the stadiums not collapsing and the country not descending into chaos, but there have been some pretty incredible ones on the field itself, not the least of which was the US and Germany emerging ftom the so-called "Group of Death."

The US/Germany match is reviewed in detail as are Germany's performances to date. Also, Holland's tournament is praised after their fantastic group stage.

Please note that the first 10 minutes or so are substantially quieter than what follows, we got some new equipment and are working through some kinks.
