The match will be part of the third Audi Football Summit, this iteration taking place at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey. Bayern opened an office in New York City in April, part of their effort to expand their marketing potential in the United States.
"We're very happy to be organizing the USA tour with our long-standing partner Audi," Bayern board director Jörg Wacker told the club's website. "New York City is a perfect venue on our USA tour. We set opened first overseas office there in April."
Bayern plan to stay four days in New York City as part of their American excursion. The Rekordmeister will be fresh off of the Telekom Cup in Hamburg, which will take place the weekend before.
