FC Bayern II grabbed an early lead and never looked back on their way to a 5-0 victory over Eintracht Bamberg on Friday evening. The reserves received two braces; one from Alessandro Schöpf and Kevin Friesenbichler. The victory snaps a three match winless run by Erik ten Hag's side.

Bayern came out strong and immediately put the Bamberg goal under threat. After only eight minutes, the hosts found their lead. Schöpf received the ball in the penalty area and left Bamberg's goalkeeper with no chance at the same. Julian Green nearly made it 2-0 a minute later, but Mario Aller was able to get his fingertips to the ball and keep it out.

In the 30th minute, Ylli Sallahi powered his way up the left flank and laid the ball back to Patrick Weihrauch. The midfielder finished easily to put Bayern up 2-0. Bamberg quickly struck back after a misplaced pass from Etienne Sholz. Lukas Görtler pounced on the pass and beat Lukas Raeder to make it 2-1. However, the scoring in the first half wasn't over yet Schöpf grabbed his second of the match just before halftime to restore Bayern's two goal lead.

The Bavarians cruised in the second half on the back of Friesenbichler's brace. Sallahi and Green recorded assists on the two goals. Kevin Kühnlein scored just before the hour mark to pull one back, but it was too little too late.

The win puts Bayern four points up on FV Illertissen before they host Ingolstadt II on Saturday.
