Bayern Munich trounced Hamburger SV in the quarter finals of the DFB Cup by a rousing score of 5-0. Hamburg were inept defensively and offensively borderline dead for the entire match. The fact that Bayern Munich only put five goals past them was more a testament to some of the Red's struggles on the evening in finishing from the midfield then from any meaningful defensive actions on the part of Hamburg.
