The Bayer Leverkusen match was a great one for Franck Ribery. The French winger continues to leave his imprint all over this historic club, and Saturday's match was no different.
His goal in the 51st minute, the eventual game-winner, was his 100th since joining the Bavarians way back in the summer of 2007. Ribery is easily one of the greatest players to ever lace up his boots for FC Bayern, and Pep Guardiola agrees. "He is one of the best foreign players to ever play for this club," Guardiola said after the match.
The match was also Ribery's 186th Bundesliga appearance for FC Bayern. This broke the record for most Bundesliga appearances by a Frenchman that was held by Matthieu Delpierre.
Here's the game-winner against Leverkusen.
Congrats, Franck!
