The Englisch Woche is upon us. After Bayern Munich dispatched of FC Augsburg at the weekend, they face SC Freiburg today before taking on Mainz on Friday. Bayern will be the heavy favorites in both of these matches and will be targeting six points before heading off to Qatar for the winter break.
Bayern Munich vs Freiburg
This match is Pep Guardiola's 50th league match since taking over FC Bayern last summer, and he'll be looking to pick up his 42nd victory in those games. That's an astonishing figure. Guardiola has this team playing great at the moment, despite the numerous injuries that have afflicted the squad this year.
It will be interesting to see what lineup Pep puts on the field today, as the quick turnaround of games means that rotation is necessary.
