Bayern Munich came away with all three points on Saturday against Hoffenheim in a match that was marked by the return of Bastian Schweinsteiger. Of course, our Fußballgott didn't disappoint and recorded an assist on Sebastian Rode's first goal for FC Bayern.
Another clean sheet for FC Bayern and another match that was pleasing to watch.
Here are some candidates for man of the match.
Mario Götze: The new Super Mario grabbed his seventh goal of the Bundesliga season in style to kick things off for FC Bayern. This is the fourth time this season that Götze has grabbed the opening goal in a match.
Arjen Robben: If you watched this game, you know that Robben plays a step ahead of everyone else on the field. His ability to move in and out of defenses without being touched is a sight to behold. His assist and goal were things of beauty.
Robert Lewandowski: The forward looked good throughout the match and got his goal on a nice header from a deft chip by Robben. Lewandowski's goal came just before halftime and gave Bayern that extra boost heading into the break. Then, late in the match, he and Robben flipped duties on a wonderful goal from the Dutchman.
